Predictive Analytics: Game Changer

Driving in the 21st Century

We cannot see the future. Yet we’re able to get close by using predictive analytics, a technique of analyzing data to predict outcomes before they happen. Imagine the possibilities and opportunities. Predictive analytics has the potential to fundamentally change the way we do things, and it’s a practice that’s being used by some of the world’s top companies.

The key, however, is data. While a wealth of data exists, without the right data and expert analysis then predictive analytics falls short.

For Lytx, predictive analytics creates a world where our roads are a safer place to travel. We’re able to analyze tens of billions of miles to help companies reduce gasoline and diesel consumption, improve driver safety, reduce repairs and maintenance issues – and, most importantly, save lives. Essentially, we’re helping companies understand what could potentially happen before it happens.

It’s the reason we were recently granted a series of U.S. patents that support new innovations in video-based driver safety solutions. A total of 20 patents have now been issued to Lytx (33 more are pending) that cover new innovations in predicting risk and increasing the operational efficiency of transferring data. Clearly, Lytx has a formula for success – miles of data coupled with strategic analysis to deliver results for our clients.

It’s not surprising that predictive analytics is creating a buzz across every industry. Who wouldn’t want the opportunity to take a glimpse of what could happen in the future?
