The DriveCam difference

ACT operates over-the-road trucking with more than 300 vehicles. ACT’s goal was to not only protect its drivers and the driving public, but to also exonerate drivers after certain traffic collisions. The DriveCam® safety programme helped ACT do all of this.

When the company implemented the DriveCam safety programme, drivers became aware of their own risky driving habits, improved their driving, and were exonerated from wrongful claims, so the number of supporters grew.

After running the programme successfully for some time, drivers became aware that the DriveCam programme was not an invasion of privacy or meant to eliminate driver positions.

Instead, they recognized the program encouraged continuous improvement and reflected their safety culture to make driving habits better, and in the end, keep drivers with the company longer.
