Lytx Brand Health Study: Highest Net Promoter Score in the Market

In 2025,  Lytx® aimed to understand how decision-makers view today’s leading dash camera providers—and how likely they are to recommend each brand. Lytx partnered with Adience, an independent research firm, to conduct a comprehensive brand health and Net Promoter Score (NPS) study within the commercial fleet industry.  

About the Study 

To ensure a credible and unbiased assessment, Adience surveyed 400 qualified fleet professionals across the United States. Every respondent met strict criteria to reflect real-world buyers and users of dash camera technology. Participants had to be: 

  • Employed full-time in the U.S. 
  • Working for organizations operating 200 or more vehicles 
  • Users of dash cameras, or GPS users who are aware of dash camera technology 
  • Individuals who influence or make decisions about GPS/navigation systems or dash camera providers

The research was conducted Aug. 18 through Sept. 12, 2025. 

How NPS Was Measured 

Respondents were asked the standard Net Promoter Score question: 

“How likely would you be to recommend each of the following provider(s) of dash cameras?” 

NPS, an industry-agnostic measure of customer advocacy, categorizes respondents into Promoters, Passives, and Detractors. The final score reflects the difference between Promoters and Detractors and is widely used as a benchmark of brand trust and loyalty. 

What the Results Show

Lytx received the highest Market NPS1 scores in the industry, earning a 21% NPS. Fleet professionals cited several key Lytx strengths, including:

  • Being viewed as a market leader 
  • Reliability 
  • Ease of use 
  • Ease of customization 
  • Helping drivers stay connected 
  • Helping drivers improve safety 
  • Being highly recommended 
  • Excellent customer service 
  • Being trustworthy

What Promoters Say About Lytx 

Promoters consistently emphasized themes of dependability, clarity, usability, support, and overall value: 

  • Trust and brand credibility: Promoters often referenced Lytx’s reputation in the industry and the trust earned over time. 
  • Outstanding customer support: Described as excellent, responsive, and a key reason for recommending Lytx. Training support was frequently called out as a differentiator. 
  • Exceptionally dependable performance: Rarely misses recordings, performs reliably in all weather conditions, doesn’t freeze, and can run for long hours without issue. Many described it as the most reliable dash cam they’ve experienced. 
  • Easy to install and operate: Simple installation, quick setup, intuitive controls, and helpful installation guidance. Users also appreciated the lightweight, non-intrusive design. 
  • Feature-rich technology: Multi-camera systems, front/rear recording, parking mode, crash detection, autofocus, frame-rate and light-balancing capabilities, real-time alerts, automatic incident detection, and strong cloud security. 
  • High-quality video and audio: Clear license plates, smooth motion capture, and consistently praised audio quality. 
  • Strong value for cost: Many referred to Lytx as “worth the cost,” “the best tool,” and “flawless.” 

These insights reinforce Lytx’s continued leadership in the dash camera and video telematics market and underscore the impact of building technology that fleets rely on every day to protect their people and operations.
